Tickers

A scrolling message display, typically used to show stock prices, news or welcome messages. Available as alphanumeric or graphical displays.

Alphanumeric – displays text and numbers only in pre-programmed resident typeface on one or two lines scrolling from right to left. Two line displays show text on the upper line and numbers on the lower line, both lines scroll together at the same speed. These are available in single colour (Red, Amber or Green) or tri-colour.

Ticker displays Graphical – displays text and numbers in any desired typeface and size and also bitmap graphics (company logos, arrows, pictograms, etc) on one or two lines scrolling in either direction. Indoor models can also be mounted vertically (or inset into floors or ceilings) to scroll up or down. Each ticker can only scroll in one direction, which must be selected at the time of installation.

The ability to scroll from left to right allows foreign language text to be read naturally. Text can be displayed in any language that the controlling PC can support.

Graphical tickers are available in single colour (Red, Amber, Green or Blue) or tri-colour (Red, Amber and Green) or full colour.

A variety of pixel pitchesPixel pitch is the distance from the center of one pixel to the center of an adjacent pixel.
click link for more info is available, this is the distance between centres of adjacent LED pixels. The smaller the pitch, the closer together the LEDs are and the better the display appearance at close viewing distances.

These displays are available in several standard pixel heights and virtually unlimited lengths built up from standard modules.
